Sports Picks
If you want sports picks, then your options are pretty much unlimited. In the past, it was very difficult to get good sports picks. You had to either call in to hotlines or listen to television shows that gave the picks out late at night. Now, you can find sports handicapping information all over the internet in a fraction of the time that it used to take to get them. Plus you don't have to deal with the boiler room tactics, just enter your email and boom free sports picks come right to your email.
Whether you are a football, basketball, or baseball bettor, there are plenty of sports handicappers willing to offer up free sports picks for your fancy. Some of these handicappers are better than others, but they should all be considered. It should be stated that not every handicapper offering free sports picks is a genius, most arn't and for every one good handuicapper there are five scamdicappers and these guys know less about the game than you do. Still, they are offering free sports picks, so you should take notice. If you get as much information as possible, you will be able to make a great decision in the end.
The Cleveland Cavaliers seem determined to make a run with LeBron James while they can as his future seems to be up in the air after next season when he becomes a free agent.
The first move the Cavs made was getting Shaq for basically nothing, that in itself may have been enough, but they aren't going to stop there as they now have their sights set on Houston Rockets Ron Artest to give the Cavs the extra punch on both offense and defense.
Reportedly, LeBron James met with Ron Artest in LA on Tuesday to discuss what they could do together if Ron Ron jumped on board. Apparently, Artest and LeBron are close and Shaq and Artest also have become friends over the years.
If Artest does go to the Cavs the Lakers better look out because they will almost certainly be the favorites to win it all next year.
The Denver Nuggets may have the momentum going into game five in Los Angeles after a convincing game four victory, but the Lakers are still the team favored by six points to win.
The Nuggets have failed to disappoint in the postseason this year as they have just cruised all the way to the Western Conference finals after so many years of disappointing first round losses.
Even though I believe this will be a tight game all the way through, I think the Lakers will pull away in the fourth much like the Nuggets did in their game four win. Lakers by six seems like a good pick to me!
The NBA draft is still pretty far down the line, but as of right now it looks like no matter who gets the number one pick in this upcoming NBA draft they will most likely take Oklahoma forward Blake Griffin.
There has been no player in college basketball this season with a more polished all around game then Blake Griffin. He may have trouble at the line, but he is definitely a go to guy and someone an NBA franchise could build around.
Can you say Los Angeles Clippers?
Although the Clippers are loaded with big men right now they are without a doubt going to make some serious moves in the off season. With Baron Davis running the point, Eric Gordon shaping up to be a great two guard and Blake Griffin playing the three or four spot the Clippers could be contenders in the years to come.
Who will be the better pro? Oklahoma Sooners superstar forward Blake Griffin or Pittsburgh Panthers monster in the middle DeJuan Blair?
Honestly, too close to call, but they definitely headline the draft for next season.
Yes, Derrick Rose is great and Michael Beasley will be something special down the road, but Griffin and Blair could be impact players for the right teams immediately.
Blake Griffin is the total package, besides his free throw shooting. He can play defense and is a huge offensive threat, but Blair is a natural at his position.
The NBA is an entirely different game altogether and these two will have some growing pains for sure. I see Blair as a Paul Milsap kind of player who can be a double-double machine. Griffin on the other hand is a Kevin Durant type in my eyes. Obviously he doesn't have the guard game like Durant, but he is a game changer and a go to guy.
Who will go number one? Who knows, but these two could definitely change the make up of the league next season.
There are only three players in the NBA this season that are in the running for the MVP this season: Kobe Bryant, LeBron James and Dwyane Wade
Although you could put up a good argument for any of these players, there is only one name that seems to out shine the rest: Dwyane Wade
Only about a year ago people started to believe that Dwyane Wade's career as one of the best guards in the NBA was over. He was still going to be able to play every season, but injuries would limit his progression as one of the league's best players much like it has to Tracy McGrady and Grant Hill throughout their careers.
This seemed so certain that no one even questioned it, but after being by far the best player on the Redeem Team last summer and turning the Miami Heat back into a force in the East while leading the NBA in scoring, Wade is officially reborn.
Early in the season LeBron James seemed to be the hands down decision for NBA MVP, but with the way Wade has played over the last month he has turned into the favorite to win the award this season.
No a blockbuster trade didn't go down sending Shaq back to LA to play alongside Kobe Bryant and under Phil Jackson. Even though that would be cool to see one more time.
The two superstars and NBA champions will be teammates against in Phoenix for this year's NBA All Star game.
Personally, as a dedicated Los Angeles Lakers fan I can't wait to see this happen! I used to love seeing these two play alongside each other in a Lakers uniform. Kobe and Shaq were, in my humble opinion, the best duo ever to play the game.
Scottie Pippen and Michael Jordan were as deadly a duo as they come in the NBA, but a guard/center duo like Kobe and Shaq was incredible. How knows, they may have even won more titles together than Jordan and Pippen did if they had stayed together.
I do think the West is totally out matched in this All Star game with perhaps the best starting five I have ever seen in LeBron, Wade, Iverson, KG and Dwight Howard, but it will be fun to see the Shaq and Kobe connection for the last time!
Well I have two picks tonight. Both games going over. Bucks/knicks over 214 and Cleveland/Denver over 197. Seems alot are on these games as well. Will post more picks tomorrow. Good Luck
Picking the under in this game. Giants vs Philly taking under 44.5 I know that they both have good offenses, but the same goes for their defense. The Giants should win this game and in fact I will pick them to win by 8 as well. Just seems the Giants are for real and look like the Super Bowl Champs they are.
Taking the under 53.5 Green Bay will pressure alot against the run and the pass. Now New Orleans will have to do the same. Can they??? I think the score will be one-sided. Green Bay wins 27-14
College football shootout will be this game b/t Texas Tech and Okla St. Two very good teams. This game will be similar to last week Tx and TX Tech. I actually think Tech will win, but it really could go either way. Will depend on mistakes and whoever has the ball at the end. This will be a game to watch, take the over ..
